Des has entertained at Weddings, Corporate Dinners, Christmas parties, Birthday parties, Private Parties, Golf Days etc. and has performed as a singer in many of the top cabaret venues countrywide. He worked as resident entertainer on the Oceanos, Rhapsody, and overseas on Carnival Cruises Luxury Ocean Liners as well at cabaret venus overseas.

He founded the Durban Comedy Club and is the host of the “Kings of Comedy” shows all over KZN. Most recently, the shows have been running at “Thirsty’s” at the Point Waterfront. He has been entertaining since the late eighties as a comedian/musician, and has worked with Barry Hilton at Cantina Tequila in Durban and Barry told his audience that Des was one of the funniest comedians he has worked with and predicted a great future for Des.
