About the show

Des’ show consists of music, comedy and his talent with a pen…Des is an accomplished cartoon artist and incorporates his singing ,comedy and drawing talents into a powerful 45 minute show. He impersonates the famous and infamous and his shows are known to include the likes of Pavarotti, Tom Jones, The Bee Gees, Will young, Ronan Keating, Elvis, Elton John, Frank Sinatra, Thabo Mbeki, Madiba, The Beatles, Bob Dylan as well as a host of famous and sometimes infamous South Africans who make up our “rainbow nation”.

His impressions are so spot-on, audiences are convinced his show is a mime. Des includes (in certain shows) cartoon drawing, whereby he invites members of the audience on stage and he draws them. At Conferences, Des teaches delegates the basic techniques of cartoon drawings and as he has a talent writing radio adverts for various broadcasters, he also teaches delegates the art of “jingle writing”...

Des works 1-4 hour shows…providing all the live and recorded dance music. As a DJ, he plays a wide selection of party/dance music…so you can book him for just his comedy show (with your sound system / DJ) or the entire package… (includes his own sound system) for better rates.
